Please join the Genesis 123 Foundation to stand with people in Ukraine, and the 10 million refugees who have fled.  Because we are an organization that builds bridges between Jews and Christians, we are supporting Jews and non-Jews alike.  Of course, we are supporting Ukrainian Jews, whether they are still in Ukraine, have fled to Poland, or in Israel as new immigrants.  But we also have a mandate to help others in need, and we are doing that in many ways.

We are working with the Jewish community in Krakow to provide shelter, food and clothes for countless refugees.  It’s incredible that the Jewish community that was wiped out in the Holocaust has been revived, and now helping Jews and non-Jews.

We are also supporting the remaining 17 Righteous Gentiles in Ukraine (out of more than 2600 after the Holocaust), who saved Jewish lives while risking their own.  They and their families have our eternal gratitude, and we are honored to be part of helping them.

There is one particular unique urgent need related to the Jewish community that we are also partnering with other ministries and organizations to provide.  Passover begins shortly and will be celebrated by Jews all around the world.  We celebrate our redemption from slavery in Egypt, and the return to Israel.  For a Jew, not being home on Passover is of tremendous significance, akin to a Christian not being home for Christmas.

Today, tens of thousands of Ukrainian Jews are in exile from their homes, and will be wandering and sheltered temporarily when Passover comes.  They will not be home with their extended families, they will not have access to matzah and other Passover foods.  Unlike the Jews leaving Egypt who prepared dough to bring with them, those fleeing Ukraine have not even had that.  Please help us to provide for their needs.  The demand is urgent.

As other needs arise, we will step in strategically and make the most meaningful impact possible.  Please share as widely as possible to have others join us as well.
